- Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Melt the butter in a pan, then sauté the garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the Parmesan until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated. Use pasta water if the sauce gets too thick.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes or parsley. Serve warm.
